Education & training
Lawyer Nicole Eggert was born in Hamburg and gained her higher education entrance qualification there in 2009. After working and travelling in Australia for a year, she studied Law at the University of Hamburg. She finished her degree course in 2016 and passed the first state examination in law. After graduation, she completed her legal traineeship within the judicial district of Itzehoe Regional Court.
During her legal traineeship she worked and trained, inter alia, at the Hamburg Public Authority for Labour, Health, Social Affairs, Family and Integration. In 2018 she passed the second state examination in the German Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, and then travelled around Asia for four months. She was admitted to the bar as a lawyer at the beginning of 2019 and began her career in spring of that year in the Labour Law and Immigration Law team at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal in Hamburg. After moving to a mid-sized law firm she successfully completed the theoretical part of her training as a specialist lawyer for migration law.
